Virat Kohli’s RCB have failed to win a single game in IPL 2019 so far.

Chasing 150 runs to win the IPL 2019 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer’s were scored 67 runs in 50 balls and victory with 7 balls to spare. Now the 6 consecutive match-losing RCB is at the bottom of the table with 0 points. DC has now won three matches in six, now ranks fifth in the table with 6 points.

After being invited to bat first, the RCB batsmen performed tough on the tough pitch and made 149 runs in 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Before hitting two sixes, Kohli played almost one run-ball, in which he scored 41 runs off 33 balls. Ali scored 32 runs in 18 balls. It was not a good contribution by Kohli and Moin Ali’s for a team and RCB could score only 149.

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada (4/21) dismissed RCB four batsmen for leading Delhi’s bowling attack, including Chris Morris (2/28), Axar Patel (1/22) and Sandeep Lamichhane ( 1/46) were included.

How Skipper Shreyas Iyer Knocked RCB?

In a second inning, Shreyas Iyer played the captain’s innings, which made 67 runs in 50 balls to comfortably win the Delhi team, which resulted in his IPL campaign coming back on track.

Iyer pursued some important partnerships as Delhi achieved the target of remaining 10 balls. Aiyar hit eight boundaries and two sixes in his 50-ball innings, which helped Delhi get fifth place in the points table, in which the series of losses broke out in two matches, where they lost to Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last two matches.

Chasing 150 runs for the win, Iyer partnered with opener Prithvi Shaw and share 68 runs after Tim Southee’s out Shikhar Dhawan on the third ball of the innings.

Iyer then partnered with Colin Ingram (22) for a 39 run, which put two fours and a sixth in a 21-ball shift before the Moin Ali was caught in an attempt to play a shot on the leg side in the 14th over.

Rishabh Pant came out with a motive, putting up a couple of fours, while Iyer also struck the ball of Yuzvendra Chahal in the 17th over, but the captain smashed pull off on Navdeep Saini’s ball and catches the Chahal on the short cover.

With just five runs needed, after losing Chris Morris (0) and pant (14), in some anxious moments, Delhi tried to vacate the field and finish the process. Then, Axar Patel put up a four to take Delhi victory.
