In the third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, Sunrisers Hyderabad played a match with Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday. Kolkata Knight Riders won the match by 10 runs. Chasing the target of 188 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s team was able to score 177 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. IPL said in a press release, ‘Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been fined because his team bowled at a slow over in the IPL 2021 match against Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 10 April.

According to the statement, ‘This is the first offense of the team related to the minimum over speed offense under the IPL Code of Conduct, so Dhoni was fined Rs 12 lakh.’

Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals made their debut in the first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday with a win by defeating Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets.

Mumbai Indians made it to the finals of the 12th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Mumbai defeated current champion Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in the first qualifier on Tuesday.

The three-time champion Mumbai has been in the final for the fifth time. In the match played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai presented a weak challenge of 132 runs. In reply, Mumbai easily achieved this target at a 4-wicket loss in 18.3 overs.

Despite this defeat, there is still another chance for Chennai to reach the finals. The team of Chennai will now compete in the second qualifier from the winning side of the Eliminator match. In Eliminator Match, Delhi capitals will battle with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
