Krunal, Rohit set India to win 2nd T20 against New Zealand

The overall performance of Team India led grand win in the 2nd T20 match against New Zealand in Auckland to level the series by 1-1. The Indian pacers cum spin bowlers did exceptionally well and stopped the NZ innings at 158 for 8. In the previous match, New Zealand had defeated India badly but this time, India with some different playing techniques defeated them on their home ground. The magic man Krunal Pandaya ran through the top orders and stopped NZ from making runs. The opening partnership between Rohit Sharma (50) and Shikhar Dhawan (30) took India ahead in the race and gave a quick solid start. India vs New Zealand 2nd T20 match was one of the matches from Indian side.

Hitman being the captain is being better day by day. With this half century he becomes the leading scorer in the T20 format. The potential of New Zealand was a bit higher than India due to last win but this time they came to the same level. Rohit Sharma also completed his 100th T20 six in this match which shows the power of a legend player. Shikhar Dhawan joined the race and gave beautiful knocks in between. After that Lockie Ferguson handled the pace by sending back Shikhar Dhawan and giving a ray of hope in the match. The match was getting more crucial in the middle of the innings. The partnership of Rishabh Pant and M. S. Dhoni finally gave the victory sign to India. Thus India won the 2nd T20 match by 7 wickets. The win was very much essential from India.

Most of the winning credit goes to Indian bowlers also as their performance was delightful in the match. Starting from top over to the death overs they performed better. Krunal Pandaya, the left arm spinner picked up crucial wickets of New Zealand. Slight controversy came in the middle of the innings when Mitchell took the review of the LBW. The HotSpot indicated an inside edge but RTS did not show it. Williamson and Mitchell had a sort of discussion on the ground but nothing came into their court. The turning point of the game was the wicket of de Grandhomme which was taken by Hardik Pandaya. Day by day Pandaya’s performance is getting better.

With the overall performance of Team India, great show is expected to be seen in the World Cup 2019. New Zealand have to focus upon the failure of top orders and improve their game. India vs New Zealand 2nd T20 match was thus a bad indication for New Zealand but if they focus on game they can get good chance.
