In the 24th match of IPL 2021, Mumbai Indians won by 7 wickets in a one-sided match against Rajasthan Royals. Captain Rohit Sharma looked very happy with the team’s performance and gave the credit of the win to Quinton de kock and Krunal Pandya. Quinton de kock’s bat still remained silent this season but spoke fiercely against Rajasthan and he won the team by playing an unbeaten inning of 70 runs in 50 balls. Krunal Pandya also impressed with his batting and scored 39 runs from just 26 balls.

Rohit’s words for their team members

Rohit praised Quinton de kock’s inning after the match and said, ‘I am very happy with Quinton de kock’s inning, we know how great he can play. We should not make the mistake of forgetting Krunal’s innings. Praising the bowlers, Rohit said, ‘I think the bowlers did a good job for us. In the last 7 overs, we gave only 50 runs, when they had seven wickets left. We did everything well with the first ball in today’s match. However, Rohit could not show anything special with the bat himself and was dismissed by just 14 runs.

Rajasthan’s inning

Earlier, losing the toss and bowling first, Rajasthan were given a bang by Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal, both adding 66 runs for the first wicket. Butler was stumped in the big shot against Rahul Chahar and he scored an innings of 41 runs. After this, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was putting good shots, also got caught in Rahul’s spin trap and returned to the pavilion after scoring 32 runs. Captain Sanju Samson (42) and Shivam Dubey (35) added 57 runs for the third wicket. In the 18th over of the innings, Trent Bolt gave relief to Mumbai by clean bowled to Sanju Samson. Only 10 runs were added on the scoreboard that Bumrah dismissed Shivam as well. In the last over, David Miller and Ryan Parag hit a few good shots to take the team to 171 runs.
