Ahead of the World Cup 2019, there is a 5 match ODI series between India and Australia hosted by India from 2nd March 2018 in Hyderabad. Both the team are ready for the rehersal match before World Cup. Team India has recently won the ODI series against New Zealand.

Bhuwaneswar Kumar has been given rest in the first 2 ODI matches as he has to remain fit for the upcoming World Cup. Dinesh Karthik has been dropped from the ODI series. The eyes of selectors are more on young Rishabh Pant. Virat Kohli has the tough situation before World Cup. This series will indicate the performance of India and Australia. Both the team have excellent players.

Selectors have shown deep interest on KL Rahul after his incredible performance in the domestic cricket. Rahul was sent back from Australia tour due to an indisciplinary comment in the famous reality show “Coffee With Karan”. A great comeback from him. He knows the performance before world cup is demanding.

The team is a mixture of old cum new experience. Most of the things will depend upon Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Their elite form is expected before World Cup.
