RR vs SRH, IPL 2021, 28th match: -Rajasthan Royals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 55 runs thanks to Buttler, Morris, and Rahman

In the 28th match of IPL 2021, Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 55 runs. Batting first after losing the toss, Rajasthan scored 220 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. For the team, Jose Butler played a tremendous batting inning of 124 runs in just 64 balls, while captain Sanju Samson contributed 48 runs. Chasing a mammoth target of 221 runs, the Hyderabad team could only manage 165 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Manish Pandey scored the highest 31 runs for the team. In the bowling department, Mustafizur Rahman and Chris Morris took three wickets each for Rajasthan. This is Rajasthan’s third win of the season.

Hyderabad’s Inning

Chasing a target of 221 runs, Hyderabad got off to a brilliant start with Manish Pandey (31) and Johnny Bairstow (30) batting to add 57 runs in just 6 overs. Mustafizur Rahman got the first wicket to Rajasthan by dismissing Manish. After this, Bairstow also could not stay at the crease for long and caught Anuj Rawat off Rahul’s ball. After Bairstow’s dismissal, Hyderabad’s batting was shattered like cards and the team could manage only 165 runs. Vijay Shankar (8), Kedar Jadhav (19) once again failed to perform well.

Rajasthan’s inning

Batting first after losing the toss, Rajasthan did not start well and in the third over, Rashid Khan dismissed Yashaswi Jaiswal (12). After this Jose Butler and Sanju Samson took the front and shared 150 runs for the second wicket. Sanju Samson was dismissed for Vijay Shankar in the 17th over after playing an inning of 48 runs. However, Butler continued his batting and completed a century in 56 balls. Butler played a brilliant inning of 124 runs in 64 balls and was clean bowled by Sandeep Sharma in the 19th over. David Miller (7) and Ryan Parag (15) batted well in the last over to take the team to a total of 220.
