West Indies Beat Afghanistan In World Cup-2019, Out Of The League With Victory

Former champion West Indies defeated Afghanistan by 23 runs on Thursday to finish off their campaign in World Cup-2019. West Indies scored 311runs for 6 wickets after winning the toss, after which Afghanistan was all-out for 288 runs in 50 overs. This was the last league match for both Afghanistan and West Indies teams. The World Cup campaign for Afghanistan was extremely poor and the team could not win a single match.

Both the West Indies and Afghanistan were already out of the race for the World Cup semi-final, and their eyes fixed on ending with a victory. Afghanistan could not win a match in this tournament and in the points table of 10 teams. They stayed at the last place and farewell. It was only the second win for the West Indies in 9 matches and the team was ranked 9th.

Afghanistan’s Inning

Rahmat and Ikram added 133 runs to chase the target of 312 runs, the Afghanistan team lost the first wicket in the second over and their captain Gulbuddin Nab (5) was caught out by Kemar Roach at the hand Lewis. Evin Lewis (58 off 78 balls), Nicholas Pooran (58 off 43 balls) and Shai Hope  (77 off 92 balls) scored half-centuries while captain Jason Holder made 45 runs and Shimron Hetmyer contributed 39 runs. Pooran, Holder and Carlos Brathwaite (14 not out on 4 balls) made efforts for the West Indies to score 111 runs in the last 10 overs.

England Beat New Zealand To Make It To The Semis Of World Cup-2019

England beat New Zealand to seal World Cup semi-final spot

Thanks to the strong performance of the bowlers after the century of Opener Jonny Bairstow (106), hosts England defeated New Zealand by 119 runs on Wednesday in the world Cup match. With this victory, the England team also qualify for the semi-finals. England won the toss and batted first, scoring 305 runs for 8 wickets. After that, New Zealand’s team was all out for 186 runs in 45 overs. Man of the match, England’s Bairstow scored 106 runs in the match while paceman Mark Wood smashed 3 wickets in 34.2 overs in 9 overs.

This victory for England was also very special because it made the semifinals for the first time since 1992. Not only that, after 1983, he defeated New Zealand in a World Cup match. England won this series by 12 points and qualified for the third position in the points table.

New Zealand is at number four with 11 points, while Pakistan has 9 points. Thanks to the fantastic innings of Shakib Al Hasan (124 not out) and Liton Das (94 not out), Bangladesh defeated the West Indies by 7 wickets in the ICC World Cup 2019. Bangladesh has won against the West Indies for the first time in the World Cup. With this victory, Bangladesh’s team has reached the fifth spot in the points table. They got 5 points of five matches. In the tough competition, therefore, Bangladesh Beat West Indies By Shakib’s Blast.

In Tottenham, West Indies played the first inning and scored 321 runs after losing the toss. In reply, Bangladesh easily achieved this goal at the loss of three wickets in 41 overs.

Bangladesh made a strong start. Tamim Iqbal (48) and Soumya Sarkar (29), who came in to start the second inning, shared a 52-run partnership for the first wicket. This partnership was broken by Andre Russell in the ninth over. Tamim then led the inning with Shakib. ‘Virat’s sepoys’ defeated Pakistan for the seventh time

India beat Pakistan by 89 runs in the ICC World Cup 2019. The decision was made on the basis of the Duckworth-Lewis rule. This is also the biggest victory of India over Pakistan in the World Cup. This is the seventh consecutive victory against Pakistan in India’s World Cup.  It is India’s Record win over Pakistan, seventh times victory since 1992.

In 1992, the two teams met each other for the first time battle and since then the Pakistani team has not won any match against India. India scored a mammoth 336 runs in the first innings at the Old Trafford ground in Manchester.

Pakistan’s Answer Against India’s Bowlers

In reply, the Pakistani team could have scored 212 runs in 6 overs in 40 overs between the rain disruption. After the third rain, Pakistan had the goal of making 302 runs in 40 overs.

Rain disrupted the match three times. First-time rain came in the 47th over during the Indian inning, followed by a brief hurdle just before the second Pakistani inning began. Pakistan got a revised target after the third rain.

Until the game was stopped for the third time, Pakistan scored 166 runs for six wickets in 35 overs. This win has brought the Indian team to third place in the final table. India has been seven points from four matches, while Pakistan has only three points from five matches and it has slipped to ninth place.

Fakhar Zaman scored the highest scorer (62) for Pakistan. He hit 7 fours and 1 sixes in his 75-ball inning. Pakistan’s start was poor and their first wicket fell quickly as Imam-ul-Haq (7). After that, Fakhar Zaman teamed up with Babar Azam (48) for 104 runs for the second wicket.

Apart from Rohit, Virat Kohli (77), Lokesh Rahul (57), Hardik Pandya (26) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni contributed 1 run. Vijay Shankar 15 and Kedar Jadhav remained unbeaten on 9 runs. Mohammad Amir from Pakistan side got three wickets while Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz picked up one wicket each. Overall It is India’s Record win over Pakistan, seventh times victory since 1992.

India’s Strong Debut

After losing the toss, batting first, the Indian team made a strong start. Lokesh Rahul and Rohit Sharma, who started the innings, started the partnership with 136 runs for the first wicket. Both batsmen left no shortage to beat Pakistani bowlers.

Australia defeated Sri Lanka by 87 runs in the ICC World Cup 2019 on Saturday. Australia gave a huge target of 334 runs to Sri Lanka in the match played on The Kennington Oval ground. In reply, the Sri Lankan team made 247 runs in 45.5 overs. Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne (97) scored the highest runs for Sri Lanka. He struck out nine fours in his 108-ball innings. Besides them, Kusal Perera (52) and Kusal Mendis (30) were the only batsmen to perform well. Sri Lankan ‘Lion’ Bowling Failed In Front Of Kangaroos.

Sri Lanka’s poor condition can be judged by the fact that its six batsmen could not even cross the tenth. For Australia, Mitchell Starc took four, Ken Richardson three, Pat Cummins two and Jason Behrendorf one wicket.

Changes In Both Team

Sri Lanka made a change to their team for this match. In the place of Suranga Lakmal, Milinda Siriwardana is included. The Australian team also made a change. The Kangaroo team included Jason Behrendorff in place of Nathan Coulter-Nile. The Australian team looks good in comparison to Sri Lanka.
