Biggest challenge for Mahendra Singh Dhoni
The biggest challenge for Mahendra Singh Dhoni

The cool leader Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won several name and fame in the World Cricket. He has given his entire energy for cricket and cricket has given him big things. As a captain, Dhoni has won 2007 T20I World Cup, 2011 World Cup, Champions Trophy etc but this time World Cup 2019 is one of the biggest challenges for him.

World Cup 2019

Dhoni has to focus on wicket-keeping, batting, planning, guiding the young team and so many other aspects. The whole world is a big fan of Dhoni. Unlike the 2011 World Cup, this time the crown of captaincy will not be on MSD but the responsibility of the whole team will be on his shoulders. He has given chance to many young players to show their hidden potential and in return, players have satisfied him with extraordinary performances. Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar etc are the live examples.

There were a lot of question marks on the playing of MSD for this world cup also but his recent performance in New Zealand have put full stops on many faces. Dhoni is the world’s best wicket-keeper, finisher and leader of cricket. May his experience and dedication turn out good for team India.

Virat Kohli has learnt a lot from Mahendra Singh Dhoni on and off the ground fora couple of time. He has won many series as a captain. Now Dhoni, Virat and Rohit Sharma have big respinsibilities to win World Cup title.

Dhoni Kohli Rohit

Big game, a big challenge but India can do it.!!!

Dhoni Kohli Rohit

M.S.Dhoni vs Virat Kohli vs Rohit Sharma : Dinesh Karthik explains the captaincy style of all

“Nothing in this world is bigger than experience.” This line is applied to Indian Cricket Team also. Team India is very lucky to have 3 most successful captains who are in the playing squad for World Cup and other limited over formats.

The wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik explains the captaincy style of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. He has played under the captaincy of all these 3 legends. As per him, these 3 jewels of India have different perceptions, different ways of leadership, different ways of handling the situation. While MSD has been the most experienced captain of Indian Team, Virat Kohli is getting experienced day by day in all the three formats, Rohit Sharma whenever gets chance proves his leadership also.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is cool, sensitive, instictive leader. As a leader he has proved everything. Under his captaincy various big Indian players like Virendra Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh etc have played. The ways of taking decisions by Dhoni on the ground is very provoking. He is a very practical being. As per the situation he turns his decisions. Dhoni always motivates, inspires and guides other players on and off the ground. Karthik further adds that he has learnt various techniques of wicket-keeping from Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

On the other hands, the present skipper Virat Kohli is a bit aggressive. He is self confident. The performance of team India under his leadership is quite well. Kohli has led India to win various trophies in all the three formats. He keeps on learning the captancy from Dhoni on the ground. He is a quick learner and very active captain on the grounds. He meets with bowlers in between and guides them properly.

Rohit Sharma has been magnificent as a captain. He is also the captain of Mumbai Indians. Under his leadership Mumbai has won several titles. Rohit Sharma gets inspiration from Mahendra Singh Dhoni as he calls him his guru. He talks to players and bowlers often and takes punctual decisions. As a captain Rohit Sharma plays his natural innings.

All the three captains are true leaders. All of them have different ways of captaincy but their vision is same. These three leaders will have great responsibility in the World Cup 2019. All of them have enough experience and they have won big titles. It will be great for the new players to learn from these trio captains. Dhoni-Kohli-Rohit counts to half of Team India.

Dinesh Karthik feels very enthusiastic to play for Team India under the captaincy of D-K-R. Hope India will do the best in coming times by using the experience of these trio.

Dhoni protects Indian flag

Dhoni protected the Indian flag from touching the ground. Great respect for the nation.

India lost the 3rd T20I match against New Zealand but Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the heart of Indians by showing respect for the Indian flag. He is a true leader, patriot and ultimately a very nice human being.

In the first inning, he made the audience feel excited through his fastest stumping. His energy and reflex actions are unbelievable. As the first inning was over, one of the fans of Dhoni broke the security barrier and entered on the ground to take blessings from the living God on the ground who is so devoted towards cricket. The fan was carrying a flag in his hand. As he bent down to touch the feet of Dhoni, suddenly the flag touched the legs of Dhoni or might have touched the ground. Dhoni suddenly took the flag in his hand and moved from there.

Dhoni protects Indian flag

This incident has become viral across social media. Although India lost the match but the stumping in the fast moment made the audience excited. Chasing the huge target of 213 runs, Team India continued to fight till the last over but nothing came into their court. Dhoni was playing his 300th T20 match. It was a special moment for him but he could not perform well from the bat and could not give the finishing touch to India in the series-deciding match. Dhoni was dismissed by scoring 2 runs only. Rest of the men in blue continued to chase the score till last over. Dinesh Kartik and Krunal Pandya raised a ray of hope till the last over but the day and trophy was for New Zealand.

Dhoni always loves India and by his activity, he increased his fan base. We would wish MSD to play more and more cricket and train the youngers lesson of patriotism cum nationalism.

Colin Munro’s 72 runs off 40 balls helped New Zealand to set the powerful target of 213 runs in 20 overs. The pitch was considered to be for the batsman and the team who played early got good benefits also. Rohit Sharma after winning toss took the decision of bowling first. The dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan in the early of the game was disappointing. In spite of that, all the players came and hit their best shots. Rohit Sharma although stayed for long time on the ground but at the crucial moment he also got caught behind the stumps. The pressure was increasing ball by ball because the total was more than 200.

Vijay Shankar handled the game a bit and made some attacking shots to pull off the pressure. His 43 runs off 28 balls put the required run rate a bit low. The entry of young Rishah Pant was superb. The sixes and fours in the first over made the audience more excited but as he dismissed the crowd and score board became a bit low. Hardik Pandaya then took the risk and continued the scoreboard. He made some airy shots in between. The way match was going for Indian, the difficulty for NZ was increasing. The fall of wickets of Hardik Pandaya and Mahendra Singh Dhoni came to be a negative sign in the final series deciding match for India.

Dinesh Kartik and Krunal Pandaya in last 5 overs played exceptionally well and brought the match close to last over. The last over was best from New Zealand as they stopped Team India from making runs. Thus, finally the 3rd T20 match as well as series came into the courtyard of New Zealand. It was great come back from the ODI loss for NZ. They lifted the series trophy after long way back. Rohit Sharma would be disappointed with this loss as he could not give winning trophy in the hands of young players. The team was full of young energy and they performed better keeping eye on huge target. Now team India should start focusing on upcoming series with Australia. Good day for New Zealand and congratulations to Kane Williamson and team for winning the series.
